 He has wonderful elastic movement, is very athletic and has excellent form over fences. Evan possesses all of the best qualities of the New Forest Breed – he is very quiet, intelligent and people-oriented, and has an excellent work ethic.

The New Forest pony makes an ideal child’s pony because of their outstanding temperament and straightforwardness. The New Forest’s size and sturdy build also makes them suitable for adults. The “Forester” has made its mark all over Europe as the ‘warmblood’ of ponies, competing successfully in FEI dressage and jumping – this breed truly typifies the meaning of sport pony.

New Forest stallions cross very well with other breeds, adding substance, bone density, sensibility, and athleticism. Examples of New Forest crosses can be seen at our farm.
